Elise Schexnayder has been teaching financial literacy in the Sacramento area since 2009 when she began her career with SAFE Credit Union. Previously, Elise spent over 15 years managing the finances and teams of two nationally-recognized restaurant chains.. She currently uses her background and wealth of financial knowledge to offer financial education to the community, focusing on ways to take control of personal finances. She emphasizes the importance of allowing your passions and values to control your financial decisions, while using money as a tool to reach your goals. She works with many aspects of finance including credit, budgets, home buying and many other subjects. Elise lives in the Sacramento area with her daughter and works with a number of non-profit organizations working to empower tomorrow’s leaders.
