Anette Smith partners with Fifth Star Bank’s executive team and community leaders to develop and lead strategies in support of the bank’s Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) initiatives. Anette brings over 20 years of workforce development and community outreach experience to Five Star Bank. Since 1998, Anette worked for Sutter Health, most recently as Workforce Development Manager, where she forecasted current and emerging workforce requirements to meet the needs of rapidly growing communities. Anette was invited to take part in the Business Leaders United for Workforce Partnerships, part of the National Skills Coalition, which resulted in her participation in then President Obama’s “Opportunity for All” conference at The White House in Washington, DC. Anette is a member of the California Workforce Development Board and the Sacramento Works, Inc. Board. She is the Immediate Past Chair of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. A graduate of the University of Phoenix with a BS in Business Management, Anette is a proud pet parent of a standard Labradoodle, Bixley.
